This exhibition is in collaboration with Walking Home Projects. Diverse youth (aged 9-12) from Strathcona and Downtown Eastside neighbourhoods participated in a 2-day “walking, mapping & art-making” workshop series held in October. The art pieces chronicle the participants’ processes of engagement with their community, particularly as they explored the ideas of place and history, and the transformations that happen between them.
