Crimson: Modern Culture through Artists’ Eyes
In collaboration with the Battle of the Brush, the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden presents CRIMSON: Modern Culture through Artists’ Eyes, a two-phrase exhibition that shows the collective work of sixteen Vancouver-based artists.
Through their diverse backgrounds, the featured artists provide a wide array of interpretations of our always evolving and transforming culture. They reimagine works throughout time and across the globe, expressing their subjects in various manners ranging from the representational to the non-objective and the dream-like to the realistic.
Phase 1: November 16 – December 5
