Penjing is a mini garden, a living art form. With the increasing pace of our modern world, penjing allows us to pursue inner peace and tranquility, fulfilling our desire to be part of nature.
Join us at the garden for a 30-minute penjing tour and demonstration with our master gardener Pin Lee, as we learn about the art of penjing, its history, preservation, aesthetics, and style. Following the tour and demonstration is a hands-on workshop for participants who wish to seek penjing advice from Lee.
Registered participants are welcome to bring one or two of their own penjing creations for Lee to advise upon. For beginners, a variety of plant species and pots will be available for purchase. Plants and pots will range from $15 to $50. Soils and tools are provided during the workshop.
